Industrial
Supply shall
mean a supply for Industrial, Agricultural, Irrigation and pumping
purposes.
(l)
Month shall mean a billing month.
(m)
Power Factor
shall mean the ratio expressed as a percentage of the kilowatt to the
kilovolt amperes supplied during any period. The power factor shall be
calculated upto two decimal places.

Point of
commencement of supply:
the point of commencement of supply of energy to a consumer shall be
deemed to be the point at the outgoing terminals of the cutouts inserted
by the Board in each conductor of every service line other than an earthed
or earthed neutral conductor or the earthed external conductor of a
concentric cable at the consumers premises.

Service Line
means an electric supply line through which energy is or is intended to be
supplied to the consumer either from Boards mains, sub-mains or
immediately from the sub-station.

The Rules
shall mean the Indian Electricity Rules,1956 as amended from time to time.

Commission:
shall mean
the Himachal Pradesh State Electricity Regulatory Commission.
(s)
Sanctioned Load: shall mean load in KW for which the Board has
agreed to supply from time to time subject to governing terms and
conditions. The total connected load is required to be sanctioned from
the competent authority.
(t)
Consumer Service Charges: shall mean the fixed amount to be
paid by the consumer as defined in the respective tariff schedule.

Schedule:
shall mean the Tariff Schedule as amended from time to time.
