Control Persons             The person/persons designated by the HPSEB, all Users  having common electrical interface with the HPSEBs Distribution System.

Demand charges             Fixed charges payable by the consumer at the rate notified by the HPSEB after approval of the Commission.

Distribution Code             The document prepared by HPSEB pursuant to condition of the H.P. Electricity Regulatory Commission.

Distribution Mains             Portion of main supply lines owned and managed by HPSEB with which the service lines already connected or intended to be connected.

Distribution System         The system of electric lines and electrical plants used for conveying or distributing electricity between the delivery points on any transmission lines or generating station connections, as the case may be, and the point of connection to the installation of the consumers.

Distribution Voltage         HT: 22kV, 15 kV,11 kV & 2.2 kV

                                            LT: 400 V and 230 V 

DOC                                 That portion of the Distribution Code which is identified as the Distribution Operating Code.

DPC                                 That portion of the Distribution code which is identified as the Distribution Planning Code.

E.H.V.                             Where the voltage exceeds 33,000 Volts under normal conditions subject, however, to the percentage variations allowed by Indian Electricity Rules, 1956.

E.S.C.                                Electricity Supply code
