Interconnection It shall have same meaning as
connection point.
Installation
Contractor: Any person licensed under Indian Electricity Rules
for (Electrical) undertaking electrical works of appropriate
voltage.
Licensee: A person licensed under part-II
of the Indian Electricity act 1910 (9 of 1910), to supply energy or a
person who has obtained sanction under section 28 of the Act to engage in
the business of supplying energy but the provisions of section 26 or 26A
of the amended Electricity (Supply) Act, 1948 and Indian Electricity
Rules,1956 not withstanding, does not include the Board or a Generating
Company.
Non-Tariff Customer: A customer who purchases electricity under
the term of a special agreement and subject to Distribution Code either
by virtue of license or pursuant to an agreement with the Supplier or
otherwise.
Operational Boundary: The boundary between the equipment
operated by HPSEB and the User.
Rules: Indian Electricity Rules,
1956.
SLDC/State Load The centre(s) so designed for
the State where the
Dispatch Center Operation of the power system in
the State and the integration of the power system with the regional
grid/other grids/neighboring States is/are co-ordinated.
Safety Management The procedure adopted by the HPSEB or a
User to ensure the safe operation of its system and the safety of
personnel required to work on that system.
