TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. Tender Documents can be had from the office of the undersigned on any working day, on payment by a crossed demand draft amounting to Rs. 10,200.00 ( Rs. Ten thousand two hundred )only if required by post or Rs. 10,000.00 ( Rs. Ten thousand )only, if required in person, in favour of the Accounts Officer, BVPCL Jogindernagar Distt. Mandi (HP) drawn on any nationalized bank at Jogindernagar . This fee is non-refundable.

2. Applications received after the prescribed date of sale of tender documents or not accompanied by prescribed fee as above, will not be considered.

3. BVPCL shall not own any responsibility for postal delays, if any, in delivery of tender documents by post.

4. Pre bid meeting of prospective bidders (only those who have purchased Tenders ) shall be held on 11-07-08 in the office of Director(Planning) BVPCL Mandi(HP) for redressal of queries regarding this tender .

5. Tender shall be in two parts namely �Techno Commercial Bid �and �Price Bid�. �Techno-Commercial Bids� shall be opened at 4.00 PM on 18-07-08 in the presence of the tenderers or their authorised representatives who may wish to be present.

6. �Techno-Commercial Bids� shall be scrutinized and evaluated by the BVPCL for prequalification. �Price Bids� of only those tenderers shall be considered/opened who shall qualify in the �Techno-Commercial Bid�. Date for the same shall be intimated to the qualified tenderers.

7. The validity period of each tender shall be at least 180 days from the date of opening of �Techno-Commercial Bids�.

8. In case the tender opening date happens to be a holiday, the same will be opened on the next working day at the same time.

9. Tender shall be entertained from only such applicants who have purchased the tender documents.

10. Conditional and telegraphic tenders shall not be accepted. Tenders received after due date and time will be rejected.

11. BVPCL reserves the right to reject any or all the tenders without assigning any reason.

12. The tenderers shall have to get themselves registered under HP General Sales Tax Act-1968, before signing of agreement.

13. The tenderers shall submit latest Sales Tax Clearance Certificate, if already working in the state of Himachal Pradesh and Income Tax Clearance Certificate along with application for purchase of tender documents.
