  HIMACHAL PRADESH STATE ELECTRICITY BOARD

“INVITATION FOR BID”

1.         Sealed bids are invited for and on behalf of HP State Electricity Board (HPSEB) from the reputed manufacturers for the Design, Manufacture, Testing at manufacturers works before dispatch, Transportation & Insurance, Erection, Testing and Commissioning of 1 No. Passenger Type Elevator ( Lift) for UHL Stage-III HEP in Distt. Mandi of Himachal Pradesh. 

2.         The detailed scope of work is given in the bid documents (Tender specification no. UHL(E)/Tech. Spec.10/2009 ) which are available for sale at the address given below as per following schedule.           

            *            Document sale dates and timings: 27-01-2010 to 06-02-2010 from 11.00hrs. to 17.00hrs

            *            Bid receipt date and time:                  25-02-2010 upto 13.00hrs              

            *            Bid opening date and time:            25-02-2010 at 15.00hrs 

3.         A complete set of bid documents, which are not transferable, can be purchased on submission of a written application and payment (non refundable) of Rs.5000/- (Rupees Five Thousand only) through crossed demand draft in favour of Sr. Accounts Officer (Banking), HPSEB, Shimla payable at Shimla. If desired, the document shall be dispatched by registered post but under no circumstances HPSEB shall be held responsible for late delivery or loss of documents so mailed. 

4.            Bid documents shall be issued to only those bidders, who are manufacturers of passenger type elevator. The list of past supplies and performance certificates of elevator supplied & commissioned shall  be submitted alongwith application for purchase of bid document. 

5.         Application received late will be rejected.  

6.         Bid shall be submitted and opened at the address given below. 

7.         HPSEB reserve the right to reject any or all the bids or cancel/ withdraw the Invitation for
           bid without assigning  any reasons whatsoever and in such case no bidder/intending
           bidders shall have any claim arising out of such action.
