TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. Tenders in response to the advertisement should be
accompanied by Earnest Money. The payment shall be made through Bank
draft/bankers cheque in favour of A.O. (Banking) HPSEB, Shimla-4 drawn on any
scheduled bank at Shimla. Tenders not accompanied by Earnest money are liable to
be rejected forthwith.
2. “Techno-Commercial Bids” shall be scrutinized and evaluated by HPSEB for
pre-qualification. Price bids of only those tenderers shall be considered /
opened who shall qualify in the Techno-Commercial Bid. The date of opening of
“Price Bid’s” shall be intimated later on.
3. Tender shall be in two parts namely ‘Techno-Commercial Bid’ and ‘Price
Bid’. In case the tender opening date happens to be a holiday, the same will be
opened on the next working day at the same time.
4. Tender Documents can be had from the office of the undersigned on any
working day with effect from May 12, 2010 by sending a crossed demand
draft amounting to Rs. 5000/-(Rs. Five thousand only) if required in person,
or Rs.5500 /- (Rs. Five thousand and five hundred) only if required by post in
favour of Accounts Officer (Banking), HPSEB,Shimla-4 drawn on any nationalised
bank at Shimla. This fee is non-refundable.
5. The validity period of each tender shall be at least 120 days from the date
of opening of the tender.
6. Applications received after the prescribed date of sale of tender
documents or not accompanied by prescribed fee as above, will not be
considered.
7. Tender shall be entertained from only such applicants who have purchased
the tender documents as individual/ firm or joint venture etc. and submitted the
tender as the same entity/capacity.
8. Conditional and telegraphic tenders shall not be accepted. Tenders received
after due date and time will be rejected.
9. HPSEB reserves the right to reject any or all the tenders without
assigning any reason
10. The tenderers shall have to get themselves registered under HP General
Sales Tax Act-1968, before signing of agreement.
11. HPSEB shall not own any responsibilities for postal delays, if any, in
delivery of tender documents by post in the office of S.E.(Contract) cum
Arbitrator, HPSEB, Vidyut Bhawan,Shimla-171004.
12. Intending contractors must see the site of work before submitting the
tender.
13. Interested parties may see pre-qualification criteria and other
relevant details from the O/O the S.E. (CCA),Vidyut Bhawan Shimla-4 before
purchase the tender document.
14. Details can also be seen on website of the HPSEB i.e. hpseb. com.
15. Contractor shall have to produce PAN number at the time of submission
of bid.
