HIMACHAL PRADESH STATE ELECTRICITY BOARD

*NOTICE INVITING TENDER*

Sealed item rate tender on form PWD-8 are hereby invited on behalf of Chairman, HPSEB, for the under mentioned work from the approved/eligible contractors of appropriate class enlisted with HPSEB/HPPWD, MES according to revised H.P. Govt. enlistment rules. The tender should reach in the office of Undersigned on or before 11.2.2008 upto 3PM and shall be opened at 4PM sharp on the same day in presence of the contractors or their authorized representatives who may like to be present.

The tender documents can be had from the office of the Sr. Executive Engineer, Electrical Division, HPSEB, Jogindernagar on any working day w.e.f. 4.2.2008 to 11.2.2008 upto 1PM.

TERMS & CONDITIONS:-
1. The undersigned reserves the right to reject any or all the tenders without assigning any reason.
2. The telegraphic tender/conditional tender or tender without earnest money shall not be entertained/accepted.
3. The work would be executed strictly in accordance with the R.E.C. Specification which can be seen in the office of the Undersigned on any working day between 10AM to 5PM and as per the instruction of the Engineer in charge.
4. The contractor shall produce/submit the PAN No. and income tax/sales tax clearance certificate for latest assessment year before the tender is sold to them.
5. The contractor shall have to submit proof of enlistment and license to carry out HT works with the tender.
6. In case there will be holiday on the opening of the tender, the tender shall be opened on the next working day at the same time.
7. The contractor shall responsible for any mis-happening to workers deployed by him on the execution of work.
8. The contractor shall be responsible for any damage to the Board's property, recovery will be born by him.
9. The contractor shall comply all the points/observations of Electrical Inspectorate to obtain approval to energize the installation.
10. The earnest money should be received in cash or through bank draft in favour of Sr. Executive Engineer, Electrical Division, HPSEB, Jogindernagar payable at H.P. State Co-Operative Bank Ltd. Jogindernagar.
11. CT/PT unit shall be tested by M&T unit of HPSEB and testing charges shall be born by the contractor.
12. The work is of urgent nature and shall have to be completed within the time limit and no extension will be granted.
